Wood oils and conditioners to nourish and protect wood

I am a corporate beekeeper that uses the Pure Tung Oil that I purchase from the Cornish Chopping Board Company to coat the Wooden Cedar Hives that I keep all my bees in! It is the most natural oil for me to use that is kind to the bees and the fantastic effect that it brings to the hives is spectacular and makes the bee hives become more like pieces of urban art! I can only recommend the Cornish Shopping Board Company highly, as they are a helpful, efficient and cost effective partner that I purchase all my Pure Tung oils from!

It's easy to apply, is made from ingredients sourced in the UK, and our chopping boards have had a new lease of life. |'ve used it on our wooden knife handles too.

The oil itself is absolutely first class. However, I would prefer there to be a stopper in the bottle and found the very thin, rectangular design of the container unstable and easily knock over-able resulting in an annoying spillage. So whilst working with the oil you need to either keep putting the lid on and off, keep moving the container well out reach or decant it into something more suitable.

Clever packaging that is letterbox friendly is the icing on the cake for this mineral oil food safe product. Very pleased with the oil in use as well, chopping board has come up looking amazing.

Exactly what I needed at a good price. The Mineral Oil took a while to arrive but the order had been dispatched the day it was placed, and this was not the fault of the company, who, incidentally did not charge me postage costs, but due to Post Office strikes. So all-in-all, I’m happy and would definitely recommend this company.

I bought this to resurface a very old wooden loo seat. The danish oil has made such a difference, the loo seat looks almost better than when it was new (previously it was varnished).

Simply impressive. Very quick delivery and great product. Used to reinvigorate a board that’s 25+ years old, has been constantly abused and put in a dishwasher. Wanted to throw it away but was informed it’s iroko wood which is now an endangered species? It now looks great and probably last another 25 years. But no more dishwasher. Thanks guys.

Excellent service and delivery. I used the oil to seal four chopping boards I made from an old oak workspace. Two coats applied with a lint free cloth produced a deep finish that soaked in and brought out the grain. Left overnight the boards are dry to touch. A little goes a long way. Great product, thanks.

It was what I needed to revitalise my chopping boards and I use end cut hard wood like teak. I have a number of boards including bamboo and the care kit contents seem to work well on this hard wood.

I have oiled my boards and they look lovely. I haven't had chance to try them yet but hope it will help with staining etc. The service was excellent arrived sooner than expected. Thank you.

I haven't used it yet, but it is clear, odourless and tasteless, just as described. Arrived late, but that was down to Royal Mail not following delivery instructions, (caught on camera) otherwise it would have arrived as promised.

This is the perfect polish for me. I am very sensitive to chemicals and have had problems with other Beeswax polishes. I have had no issues with this one and will be making future purchases Our furniture has never looked better.

Brilliant products, just what I needed for my handcrafted oak board. It is now in pride of place on the kitchen table. Once I have used all my kit I will return for future purchases.

If your chopping board mineral oil is good enough for you to use on your excellent boards then I thought that it would be more than good enough for my board, and this has proved to be the case, brilliant!

Excellent packaging and the bottle came in perfect condition. The oil really is odourless and I've used it on a wooden serving board. It seems to attach well but does remain a bit oily (not sure if I need to wipe some more off after soaking it overnight).

It is a very good buy. Excellent quality for the price. There wasn't an instruction to use attached but it's self evident. I gave my boards this conditioner as much as they wanted by rubbing in. They are now bright and good looking. don't throw away your old chopping board. Use this product.
